§ 30-4. Notice of election; voter registration; polling places.

  • At least 60 days before the election provided for in section 30-3 and again two weeks after the first notice in any year in which the election is to be held, the city council shall by appropriate measure give public notice of such election. This notice shall include the last date one can register to vote and still be eligible for the upcoming election, the date, time, and location of hearings on challenged ballots, the precincts involved in the election and the polling places therein, and the time absentee ballots will be counted.
