§ 26-19. Defendant may request transcript of trial.

In all cases, the defendant may request the testimony taken in writing by paying to the court a sum sufficient to pay for the services of a stenographer. Such testimony may, in the discretion of the court, be recorded by tape or wire recorder or any other mechanical device.
