§ 26-11. Ministerial recorder.

  • There is hereby established the office of ministerial recorder. This office may be filled at the pleasure of city council. Ministerial recorders shall be elected from time to time by council, and shall serve at its pleasure or until the office is vacated when employment with the municipality is terminated. Ministerial recorders shall perform the powers provided by law, and shall be subject to the supervision of the municipal judge. Ministerial recorders shall not be law enforcement officers.
